On your arrival at Tangiers airport, you will be greeted by a Misty and Mohamed who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in the Medina of Tangier.
Tangier the gateway to Africa has been a strategic location since Phoenician times. It is divided between a new town and a white washed old town. It is where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean sea. The architecture is a mix of old kasbahs and art deco. It is known for its beaches, old medina, and kasbah.
Am departure to Chefchaouen. We will stay one night in this town famously referred to as the blue city. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled lanes.
Rabat is the capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Our beautiful Riad is situated in the heart of the Medina. It is walking distance to the Oudaya gardens and the souk. The Medina is warm and welcoming, the ocean views are breathtaking.
We will enjoy lunch and stories of the Barbary Pirates on Le Dhow boat located on the Bouregrag River.
Upon our early evening arrival in Essaouira, a small fortified city on the edge of the Atlantic, we will take a walk to the ocean and visit the Ramparts.
Essaouira is known for its mellow atmosphere and offers a unique selection of silver, leather, and paintings. For dinner, we have a special treat in store for you. We will take you to Cafe Caravane, a restaurant that offers a unique experience. You can expect local musicians, entertainment, and incredible cuisine! This laid back port city if full of music, art, silver jewelry and incredible food, you will fall in love!
Morocco derives its name from Marrakech. Located to the north of the foot hills of the snow-caped Atlas mountains, Marrakech is the fourth largest city in Morocco and is on of its most visited places for its history, culture, and architecture. Walk the most famous UNESCO recognized square in the heart of the medina. In the evening it transforms into a medieval circus.
Day 13. Sadly our tour ends. Transfer to the Marrakech airport and board your flight home.
