Fez to Meknes and Roman Volubilis

Take your room in Fez at 9:00 in the direction of Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis and spend enough time exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire. Moulay Idris, founder of Fez, one of the most sacred cities of Morocco. Continue to Meknes to explore the beautiful medina and admire its magnificent doors and walls with monumental doors dating from the seventeenth century, including Berdaïne Bab, and Bab Khemis. We continue to explore the royal stables; attics (HERI SOUANI).
Stopping at the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, which was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims can visit in Morocco, then left it at the famous Bab Mansour El gate on the vast Hedim square. On the other side of the square, the Moroccan art museum “Dar Jamai” offers a wide variety of handicrafts.

We start our day from Fez to the Roman ruins of Volubilis to witness the ruins of the Roman Empire, then we will visit Moulay Driss Zarhoun to visit the mausoleum of Moulay Idris, the founder of Fez. And then continue to Meknes and its magnificent view of the medina, its ramparts, and beautiful doors. Introduction: A full-day tour of Fez to the fourth imperial city and a must-visit because of its beautiful large gates, its great kasbahs, its palaces, including Dar El Kabira where the royal family remains in Meknes, its fortifications, and its large gardens. On the same day, we will visit the famous archaeological site of Volubilis of 50 hectares the best preserved and the most visited in Morocco. You will be able to appreciate the greatness of the Roman remains: the Arc de Triomphe, the basilica, and the capital of Caracalla.
